Marketing Assistant Position

Job Type: Full-time, In house

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to social media inquiries and messages in a timely manner.
  • Create flyers for upcoming events to print and distribute throughout property, post on websites and/or social media platforms.
  • Help produce and/or create original content to be posted on all social media platforms including the following businesses: Seacrets, Seacrets Distilling Company, Atlantic Beverage Center, Seacrets Events, and the upcoming restaurant, Seacrets Hideaway.
  • Create content and update our digital sign for all upcoming events, daily updates, entertainment and hours.
  • Help create and design all in house printing such as menus and product displays.
  • Have an eye for capturing photos for events, concerts, celebrations and event spaces.
  • Assist in the organization of Seacrets events and have the ability to be on site during those events. 
  • Update the website with upcoming events, updated hours, and specials.
  • Assist in scheduling and organizing social media plans during weekly social media meetings.
  • Assist with graphic design to support the creation of sales and marketing materials.
  • Take an active role in the planning and coordination of on-site promotional events and functions.
  • Maintain existing social media sites and develop new and fresh ideas for growing the company’s social media presence, including frequent monitoring of and activity on Facebook, Tik Tok, You Tube, Instagram and info@seacrets.com email account.
  • Maintain Seacrets standard in message response, content, creation, website/social media development, etc.
  • Coordinate photoshoots and videography for content in relation to:
    • Food & Drink
    • Property & Venues
    • Merchandise
    • Package sales
    • Events
    • Etc. 
  • All other duties assigned.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in Photoshop and/or Adobe Creative Cloud Applications.
  • Self-starter with 1 year of experience in marketing/advertising and/or social media.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and online marketing tactics and strategy.
  • Outgoing personality – comfortable being on camera and doing voice work as necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks on time and within budget
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve individual and company objectives.
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred..
  • Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Full time availability in house; no remote work.  Must be available to work some evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range $42,000-46,000
  •  401(k) Plan (after 1 year of service)
  •  Paid Vacation
