Marketing Assistant Position

Job Type: Full-time, In house


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and attract guests.
  • Manage and drive overall digital and print marketing/advertising strategies.
    • Including, but not limited to communicating with Seacrets management and contracted marketing teams to elicit the content conveying our goals 
    • Assist, oversee, and manage company listings and content on online websites, online partnerships, social media platforms, and other media outlets.
  • Analyze and report monthly digital web direct and online performance metrics including social media statistics and performance data via search engines ie. google, trip advisor, yelp, etc.
  • Help coordinate and create social media campaigns and communications.
  • Assist with the development, planning, and coordinating company events.
    • Market these events.
    • Prep Seacrets team on the logistics of events.
    • Compose set-up/break-down of events based on the venue used at Seacrets (including floor plans of tables, chairs, food, bars utilized, etc.)
  • Manage public relations related opportunities and communications.
  • Field customer questions and inquiries in regards to the brand, events, and otherwise via phone call, social media, and other communication platforms.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and distribute all marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, and promotional material.
  • Conduct marketing research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
  • Coordinate photoshoots and videography for content in relation to:
    • Food & Drink
    • Property & Venues
    • Merchandise
    • Package sales
    • Events
    • Etc. 
  • All other duties assigned.


Position Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in Photoshop and/or Adobe Creative Cloud Applications.
  • Self-starter with 2 years of experience in marketing/advertising and/or social media.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and online marketing tactics and strategy.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Full time availability in house; no remote work.  Must be available to work some evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
