Restaurant General Manager
Job Type: Year Round, Full Time Position
Duties & Responsibilities:
– Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.
– Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance and profitability.
– Hire, train and mentor staff to provide excellent customer service and uphold company policies.
– Create employee schedules and manage labor costs.
– Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery of orders.
– Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
– Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities and attract new customers.
– Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Position Requirements:
– Minimum two years previous experience in restaurant management.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
