Find Yoga and Get Lost at Seacrets!
This year’s festival offers 4 unique yoga classes inside Seacrets famous Morley Hall Nite Club!
Classes & Schedule:
8:30am – 9:30am AcroYoga
Led by Eric and Kelly from Asana Root Studio who teach, train and perform acrobatics & AcroYoga around the east coast. AcroYoga blends the practices of yoga, acrobatics and therapeutics. In this class, we will learn about alignment and grow your understanding of yourself as well as others! No partner necessary.
9:45am – 10:45am VINYASA FLOW with Live Drumming
This class will be taught by Allison Woodward from Coopermine Racquet & Fitness, Marcus Kuipo from PureFire Yoga and Kate Grove from Yogavibez Edgewater- you will find the fusion of music and yoga — Both centered around movement and the breath.
11:00am – 12:00pm Silent Disco Yoga
When you think about yoga, ideas of tranquility, peace, and meditation probably come to mind. But watching a sea of 100 people flowing from tree pose to downward dog in silence takes that concept of zen to a whole new level. Decked out in headphones and moving to music that no one else can even hear, the yogis in a Sound Off class perform synchronized sun salutations that look like mesmerizing choreography.
Join us for a one-of-a-kind yoga experience you’ll only find here with Sara Hancock, Carrie Andersen and Dawn Ehman guiding you through this special experience . We supply headphones so you can listen to the teacher + and music. This is a super special experience, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Please sign up in advance to join us.
12:00pm – 12:45pm Sound Bath
Sound healing and sound therapy is an ancient healing modality using musical vibrational instruments such as crystal and Himalayan Bowls, drums, bells and voice that will bring the receiver into a deep relaxation passing into the mind’s thetic state while vibrations of sound will travel through the body creating harmonious balance of the body and mind’s cells. Sound therapy nourishes the body’s nerve endings reducing chronic pain and inflammation while lowering heart rate, blood pressure and toxic levels in the body. Stored emotions and energy blockages may be released and all while listening to a beautiful orchestra of sound embracing your every cell. Led by Chrissy Ehrhart from Zenna Wellness Studio and Julie Fisher of Gifted Alchemy both trained and certified in sound healing and sound therapy.
